Freeze Pop Day
Well, today at all Cally-T's locations is Freeze Pop day where the dedicated staff of our favorite restaurant accost you with popsicles all day long.
It's another of Cally-T's well-appreciated "freebie days" (like Pop Tart day) and for the faithful in DC and elsewhere (like me) another reason to cram a burrito the size of our heads down our gullets.
It's been two years since I moved away from DC, but I still get the monthly Taco Talk e-mail newsletters and e-mails that Pam, the mother of California Tortilla, personally writes. Does my heart sink on days like this because I can't participate? Maybe a little. But more than anything, I'm just glad that they are still happening.
So, anyone else out there who will be going to Cally-T's today for a Burrito and Freeze Pop, LET US know in the Comments below!
